About

I’m an entrepreneur from New York that loves building businesses.

I graduated with a degree in Marketing & Business Administration and a concentration in Professional Golf Management from Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC. I have been a member of the PGA of America since 2005.

After college I pursued playing golf for a living on various mini-tours, briefly took an Assistant Golf Professional position in Richmond, VA, then resumed a tournament playing career.

I launched a business & marketing agency called AO Studios in the Winter of 2009 with my business partner Erick Arbé. We created a division called Golf Web Design, which set the benchmark for how the golf industry marketed in the digital space.

I’m co-host of the podcast, The Big Golf Show – which talks with the most powerful people in the industry about the digital space. I write a monthly article for PGA Magazine, titled Digital Business which educates and exposes business owners to some of the newer ways in which to reach their audiences.

I got involved in the nonprofit sector and serve as Chairman of the Board for the American Pit Bull Foundation, a national non-profit organization that aims to educate and provide resources about pit bull type dogs. Their flagship program is Operation Sidekick which trains rescued pit bulls as service dogs for Veterans suffering from PTSD. I am currently consulting on strategy, positioning and execution for this program.

In 2014, we launched an online bedding company called FOHM on Kickstarter, selling the most technologically advanced pillow ever to hit the market. We changed the name to HIBR in 2015, and after 14 months in development launched the most comfortable mattress in February 2016.

I no longer play golf, but have discovered that I am a DIY junkie and coffee addict.
